East London is to get its own taste of the Orient with the opening of Shish Old Street, the second project from David Azouri. Stiff + Trevillion, along with Delphine Chevalier and Bruce Towler, were charged with turning the Silk Route theme of the bar – restaurant into reality. The result is an East meets West fusion of colours and tastes, with rich red, blues and browns. Tim Halalij, formerly from the Atlantic, Mash and Lab, is heading up the bar team and promises delights such as Holy Shish and Lychee and Cranberry Fizz.
