Shish
If you are looking for a family friendly restaurant that children will enjoy at Easter, then Shish has the answer. Taking its inspiration from the exchange of ingredients, recipes and food along the Silk Road stretching from China to Rome, this multi-ethnic food offering provides a refreshing alternative to fast food. Aimed at children aged ten and under, Shish’s creative menu represents excellent value at just £4.25 for such dishes as Pandana leaves filled with chicken pieces, marinated in soy, sesame, garlic or Mediterranean chicken marinated in olive oil, garlic and parsley or the Fishcakes made with fresh salmon and herbs. For a healthy helping of veg, they can enjoy fresh pitta, green falafel, salad leaves and humous, or choose three vegetarian cold dishes from Shish’s varied mezze menu.
Each meal is served with rice, couscous, chips or salad and a choice of ice cream and sorbet is included. All younger guests will be provided with activity packs of fun distractions such as colouring in and jokes and word games to keep them entertained.
